BARROW shoppers can now enjoy a faster online order and collection service at the town's Asda store.
The supermarket retailer's new 'Express Click and Collect' scheme, which allows customers to place an order online and collect their shopping at the given store within an hour, has been extended to the supermarket on Walney Road, after being trialled at two supermarket stores towards the end of last year.
Customers can place an order before 12pm for delivery after 3.30pm on the same day where a slot is available
Earlier this year, Asda also extended its Same Day Delivery service to 284 stores.
Derek Rose, Store Manager at Asda Barrow-In-Furness, said: “We’re pleased to be one of the first Asda stores that is able to offer this service to our customers.
"We understand that not everyone has the time to come into store and pick up the things they need, especially when they’re in a hurry."
