CONVERT: Plans to convert Flounders Fish & Chips approved
PLANS to convert the first floor of a takeaway into staff accommodation have been given the green light.
An application to develop Flounders Fish & Chips Takeaway in Flookburgh into residential housing has been approved by South Lakeland District Council planners.
The takeaway, which is based on Main Street, will undergo a number of alterations including a new staircase, changes to the existing first floor layout, additional lobby doors and alarm system and alterations to the first floor window opening.
