A MOTORIST from Dalton has been fined for failing to pay back vehicle excise duty.
Christopher Hodgson, of Rusland Drive, pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Monday.
The 47-year-old admitted failing to pay back £31.50 within the specified seven-day period.
He was fined £75 and ordered to pay back the £31.50, £50 court costs and a £32 surcharge.
