A BREXIT themed celebration is to go ahead to mark the momentous occasion.
The party has been organised by Barrow and Furness UKIP Chairman Colin Rudd to celebrate the UK's departure from the EU.
Mr Rudd said: "Friday's party will celebrate liberty, democracy, British resolve and Nigel Farage - but above all we will celebrate that the UK is a sovereign nation once again.
"I'll drink to that."
The British Independence Day Party is being held at The Soccer Bar, on Wilkie Road, Barrow.
The night promises Brexit themed disco, with lots of music and plenty of karaoke.
Also on the nights agenda will be a raffle.
Free snacks are to be made available to partygoers.
The British Independence Day celebration will see the Union Jack on bunting and other decor adorning the room.
The party will be happening from 8pm til late and boasts free entry to anyone who would like to celebrate with other Brexiteers.
