POLICE are operating a mobile speed camera on the A590 today.
In an effort to tackle speeding, police are deploying their speed camera vans at a number of locations in Cumbria.
One van will be in place on a section of the A590 between Newby Bridge and Levens, officers said.
More than 40,000 drivers were caught speeding in the county last year.
