A HOSPITAL trust has announced a new deputy medical director.
Dr Robin Proctor has been appointed as a new Deputy Medical Director for University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust (UHMBT).
Dr Proctor is currently the clinical director for the trust’s core clinical services care group – a position he has held for four years.
He joined the trust in 2012, working firstly as a consultant radiologist and then clinical lead in radiology before becoming the care group’s clinical director.
Dr Proctor said: “I am extremely excited to be taking on this role. UHMBT is a very special place to work, both rewarding and challenging with exceptional staff.
“As deputy medical director I will work closely with our Bay health and care partners and wider Integrated Care System (ICS) to ensure that care is not only right for the individual but that as a system we are providing great care, at the right time and in the right place for everybody.”
