A MEMBER of the Freemasons in Barrow has marked 60 years in the group.
Tom Foster, 96, was celebrated as he marked his diamond jubilee as part of the organisation at Barrow Masonic Hall.
The former police officer said: "“I was admitted into Hartington Lodge in 1960 having been on the waiting list for five years and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as a mason."
Mr Foster was presented with a commemorative certificate to mark the occasion.
