A MAN who was found with drugs in his car has been banned from driving.
Jeffrey Dawson appeared at South Cumbria Cumbria Magistrates' Court after being found stopped by police on November 24.
The 54-year-old was found diamorphine and heroin in his Citroen Saxo while driving on Dalton Road. He also failed to provide a blood specimen arguing he had medical problems so was unable to do so.
The defendant, of Penrith Street in Barrow, was banned for 12 months.
He was fined £120 for each offence.
