A COMMUNITY lottery has achieved great success.

In the last 18 months the Combe Community Lottery has given out £52,000 to local winners and more than £19,000 to charities.

The lottery boasts it only helps organisations around the Combe, meaning that the community always wins.

The lottery supports a vast range of organisations including; Millom Parents and Carers Disability Group, Millom Infants School and A Skye Full of Stars to name a few.

Combe Community Lottery was set up after the organisers realised that grants and funding are constantly reducing, as well as wanting to help families to win money.

If you wish to get involved and support the lottery, you can visit the website at www.combecommunitylottery.co.uk.

A percentage of every ticket that is sold will be donated to charity.

A live draw is made on the first of each month at 7pm on the Combe Community Lottery Facebook page.
