Two leading lights of British business have formed an eye-catching partnership for the festive season.

Samuel Heath, which is is well-known for its stylish and sophisticated bathroom products, has teamed up with Ulverston-based Marl International to produce a new magnifying LED mirror.

Birmingham-based Samuel Heath, which also has a design centre showroom at London’s Chelsea Harbour, has released the product on the eve of its 200th birthday.

The mirror is made up of a total of five magnifying mirrors, which come in a range of housing colours and specifications, fitted with Marl-manufactured printed circuit boards with 48 high power LEDs.

Marl International's core-opto team made up of Michelle McGuffog, Harry Stainton and Katie Higgins (pictured left to right) worked with Samuel Heath on the project.

Katie said: “Our relationship with Samuel Heath has spanned over a decade and we look forward to continuing working with them for years to come.”

Simon Richardson of Samuel Heath said: “We value our relationship with Marl who have supplied us with reliable components for many years.

"This allows us to design and distribute illuminated mirrors of the highest quality.”

All of Marl International's components are produced in Ulverston and are particularly well-known for their reliability in harsh environments in a number of sectors and applications.

These include defence, aerospace, rail and specialised industrial markets, such as processing and automation plant, fire, security and mobile equipment.
