SCENE: Island Road, Barrow
A MAN is set to appear in court after being accused of riding a moped while unfit through drugs.
Andrew Stuart Nelson, 37, has been charged over the offence, which is alleged to have happened on Island Road in Barrow on June 24.
The defendant, of Barrow’s Nelson Street, was also charged with driving the moped without a licence or insurance.
After being adjourned by magistrates because he was unable to attend, Mr Nelson’s case is due to be heard at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on January 8 next year.
