A WOMAN from Ulverston is due to go on trial accused of assaulting two people.
Susan Broadbent, of Maple Avenue, pleaded not guilty to two counts of assault by beating when she appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
The 53-year-old denies assaulting Samantha Wright and Kyle McTavish on May 21.
Both offences are alleged to have happened in Ulverston.
Broadbent, who was represented in court by Liz Phizacklea, was granted unconditional bail and will return to South Cumbria Magistrates' Court for the trial on January 23.
