1 Taylors are bringing their Christmas Funfair to the town this weekend. The funfair will be situated on Barrow’s town square between the Town Hall and The Forum, and will include children’s rides and traditional favourites. The funfair will be on today from 3pm-8pm, tomorrow from 11am-8pm and on Monday from 11am-4pm.

2 Enjoy some late night shopping in Barrow tonight with stores remaining open until 6.30pm. Many town centre stores will be staying open to give you the opportunity to do your Christmas shopping and eat or drink in one of the many fantastic bars or restaurants. Car parking will be free in all town centre car parks from 5pm. Late night shopping will also be available on December 13 and December 20.

3 Join UCRG tonight for the Ulverston Canal Brolly Parade. Decorate your brollies and meet at the Auction Mart at 5.30pm – the parade will go down the canal towpath and end at Canal Foot. A shuttle will take partakers back to the top, and refreshments will be available.

5 Head to The Coro for a Christmas Craft Market tomorrow from 10am-3pm. The wonderful stalls will be selling fabulous and unique gifts, the Vintage Village Hall Pop Up Tea Room will be in attendance and the Coro Make & Create Sessions will also be taking place. Entertainment will be running throughout the day by a variety of performers.

6 Enjoy the voices of The Barrow Male Voice Choir, who will be performing in Barrow Market Hall tomorrow. Join them between 11am-noon for their annual Christmas performance.

7 If you call into Barrow Market Hall tomorrow, a little snowman has said that the snow sisters will be making an appearance. The Frozen sisters will be happy to stop and have a chat, and will be happy to take photos as they wander around the hall. The sisters will be in the market from 1pm-1.30pm.

8 Watch as national league leaders Barrow AFC take on Aldershot Town tomorrow. Come and #BackTheBluebirds as they look to build on their lead at the top of the league. Kick off is 3pm at the Progression Solicitors Stadium.

9 Legendary 70’s rockers The Sweet will be performing at The Forum tomorrow night. The Sweet, who will be supported by The Novatines, have sold 55 million records worldwide and had 34 number one hits worldwide. 10 A new vegan fair will take place at St Matthew’s Community Hall on Sunday from 10am-4pm. The fair has been organised by Farplace Animal Rescue Charity. There will be plenty of stalls, Christmas gifts and even a Vegan eggnog demo. Entry to the event is £1, with kids entering free.
