TWO festive concerts taking place next week will mark the start of Christmas for an island community.
The Walney Churches Together Annual Christmas Concerts will run at St Columbus Church on December 5 and 6 starting at 7.30pm.
This year, the concert will be joined by choirs from George Hastwell School and St Bernard’s Catholic High School, as well as various soloists.
Entry is free, however, the church will be accepting donations to Furness Homeless Shelter.
