THE Lake District Monopoly game is searching for an Old Kent Road equivalent to complete its board.

After announcing a new official Monopoly board for the Lakes two months ago, suggestions have flooded in for which Cumbrian landmarks should feature on the board - and specifically on what property spaces they should fall.

But since then Winning Moves UK has said there has been an abundance of nominations for all but one of the spaces on the board: Old Kent Road.

As a result polls are re-opening today to help find a Lakes equivalent for the Monopoly board square.

Old Kent Road is the game’s most affordable property space.

George Shrimpton from Winning Moves UK said "We are extremely proud of Old Kent Road.

"As far as we are concerned whichever landmark gets to land on it will be a massive coup for them.

Polls will re-open for one week from today. Any suggestions for where Old Kent Road should be placed should be sent to Lakes@6starpr.co.uk.
