A THREE-BED house in Hawcoat reduced in price by a third has sold for £60,000 above its guide price.
The semi-detached home in Yewdale Avenue, which boasts a large garden and drive, was first put on the market for £230,000.
The property is in need of an upgrade but has some retro, 70s features which a buyer might want to retain.
The house, for sale with Farrell Heyworth, was reduced to £150,000 this month - a reduction of 34.78 per cent.
At Auction House Cumbria's sale in October the property sold for £210,000.
