A FORMER shoe shop that was one of a town’s oldest businesses has been sold.
The Grade II-listed shop in Ulverston’s King Street, formerly the family-run F Dickinson Footwear, closed earlier this year.
It was listed on the market by estate agents Corrie & Co for £95,000.
Travel agency Travel the Globe has submitted plans to South Lakeland District Council to create a new store.
Its current base at Stollers in Barrow will also remain.
