The explosive found near Ulverston
AN explosive has been found on Furness beach.
A bomb squad from the army is said to be dealing with the item, which was found near Ulverston today.
Furness Coastguard said it was called out along with the police but later stood down.
The item was said to have been found by a metal detectorist.
