A HOUSE described as a 'former gentleman's residence' listed as the most expensive home for sale in Barrow has been taken off the market.
The five-bedroom detached house in Spring Grove, priced at £650,000, was described by Poole Townsend as 'perhaps one of the finest that is currently available on the market in Barrow'.
A gentleman's residence is a Victorian property which benefits from lots of period features but is not as formal as a country residence.
The house has extended, wrap-around gardens.
Since The Mail featured the spectacular property on October 10 it has been taken off the market.
