MACMILLAN: The 'world's biggest coffee morning' is happening on Friday 27 September
THE children and staff of St Peter’s C of E primary school in Askam are holding a Friends of Ireleth (FOI) coffee morning this Friday at 9am in the school hall.
“It would be lovely to see as many people as possible at our coffee morning,” said a school spokesman.
The event will be held in aid of Macmillan Cancer support. Every penny raised means that Macmillan can help more people with cancer live life as fully as they can and the school hopes to raise as much money as possible towards the cause. The event is part of Macmillan’s ‘worlds biggest coffee morning’ 2019 appeal. All donations towards ‘cuppa and cake’ on the day will be made towards the Macmillan charity.
