A BOWNESS man has appeared in court after damaging a window.
Ryan Footitt, of Helm Close, pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old admitted smashing a window in Kendal on July 8 belonging to Home Group.
Footitt was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £285.24 compensation to Home Group.
He was also told to pay £85 court costs and a £21 victim surcharge.
The total amount of £391.24 is due to be paid by October 2.
