Furness Golf Club
A 12-year-old boy was said to have been assaulted on a golf course in Barrow.
Officers said another 12-year-old boy has been released under investigation in connection with causing actual bodily harm.
It happened on the golf course at Furness Golf Club, Walney, at around 2.30pm on September 13.
Police said the victim suffered minor injuries.
