A TEAM of volunteers who have been transforming a once abandoned coastline building have received funds from an international wind farm firm.
Zest Community Action Group have been turning the old Roundhouse building on Biggar Bank Road into a new cafe and community centre for the Walney public.
The volunteer group has been given a massive boost by Orsted, which runs the offshore windfarm.
A spokesperson from the group on Round House Hub and Cafe said: “Every week we change the Biggar Bank horizon a little bit more with thanks to the money we received from Orsted to give the whole of the outside of the building a lick of paint.”
