ST Mark’s Church is holding a Yarn Bomb event, on September 13.

Yarn bombing is a type of graffiti or street art that employs colourful displays of knitted or crocheted yarn or fibre rather than paint or chalk.

The church, on Buccleuch Street, is housing the event for attendees to prepare for the winter by getting their mitts on woollen hates, scarves, gloves, and jumpers.

The event will also be giving away baby clothes and soft toys. There will also be free soup lunch at 12pm, while the event will be opened by a special guest.
