MILLOM Coastguard Rescue Team investigated a report of a hazardous object earlier today.
The team were tasked to investigate a report of a hazard to navigation, in the form of a large green buoy, on the beach at Drigg.
The team attended the area, but found nothing untoward.
A search of the area located the buoy much further north at Seascale.
The owner of the buoy was notified, as it was much too large to be moved by coastguard units.
