BUSINESS: Millom’s businesses have come together to help
BUSINESSES have come forward to help alleviate emergency respite care at St George’s Care Home in Millom.
St Mary’s Hospice, Ferguson’s, Home & Sole, Double Tee Tools, Age Concern and The Mind Charity Shop have all donated clothes and toiletries.
Alpesh Patel, director and representative of the home, said: “This has just been one of those feel-good events that has taken us all at St George’s by surprise, and we are ever so grateful to all the businesses.”
