CUMBRIA Highways will continue its road marking programme across Furness and the South Lakes today.
Areas set to be affected by the programme include Askam, Barrow, Ulverston, and Walney as the county council complete the roadworks, which are predicted to take a total of one day.
The programme will put in place either road closure (closed) or a stop-and-go management system (Stop & Go).
Roads involved in the programme include Barrow's Duke Street (closed), Askam's Lots Road, (closed) Ulverston's Booths Roundabout (Stop & Go), and Walney's Black Butts Lane to Roundhouse (Stop & Go).
The county council have confirmed access to properties and frontages will be maintained during these works when it is safe to do so.
Other roads to be affected include Barrow's Park Road (closed), Allithwaite to Flookburgh (closed), and Smithy Lane (Stop & Go), the latter both near Grange.
