A MAN appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday accused of four driving offences.
Scott Somerville, 18, of Himalaya Avenue, Walney, did not indicate a plea to charges of driving dangerously, driving without a licence, driving without third party insurance, and failing to stop after being required to do so by a police officer.
The offences are alleged to have happened on June 26 in the area of North Road in Barrow.
Somerville is accused of failing to pull over when he was asked to do so by two police officer in an unmarked car.
Somerville, who was represented in court by Mike Graham and is now on unconditional bail, is set to appear at Preston Crown Court on August 16.
