A MAN has been found dead after going missing on July 13.
Gerard Doran, 91, of Garnet Crescent, Salterbeck was formally identified today on land between High Harrington and Salterbeck, Workington.
Inspector Annette McClement said: “An overwhelming number of people turned out this morning to help in the search for Mr Doran.
“We are very grateful for their support and would like to thank all those who helped.”
Officers would also like to thank the hundreds who turned out for an organised search today.
There are no suspicious circumstances at this stage.
A file will be prepared for the coroner.
