A LEISURE parks team have raised over £1000 for a lifesaving charity.
Jackie Appleton, Steve Paling and the Leisure Parks Ltd team held an open day at Silecroft Country Holiday Park, near Millom on Saturday and Sunday.
The event consisted of a family fun day including donkey rides, bouncy castle, barbecue, bar, craft and business stalls, which were supported by owners on the park and local businesses.
The team also held a tombola and donated all bar and BBQ takings to their chosen charity, North West Air Ambulance.
In total they raised an impressive £1,110.
The next fun day and open weekend will be held on Saturday August 17.
