A BAKERY in Barrow is celebrating achieving a five-star hygiene rating.
Zoey's Kitchen on Ramsden Stock Street, Barrow Island has won the prestigious food rating of five stars.
Since opening in February, the bakery has served hundreds of Barrow customers a selection of freshly made cakes and scones.
All the cakes are made by baker, Zoey Woodfine who bakes the goods from her kitchen on Barrow Island.
The bakery also offers a vegan and dairy free option option.
Ms Woodfine said she hopes to expand the business.
She said: "We would like start to sell to businesses and maybe one day have our own shop."
