AN open air boxing event will take place this weekend in a bid to raise money for charity.
Commentators Dan Payne and Grahame Dale, of Cando FM's rugby league show Odd Shaped Balls, will host the event.
Competitors have all been drawn from rugby clubs in Furness.
So far 12 boxers drawn have signed up and are set to face off at Craven Park in Barrow for the event, called Rumble at the Raiders on Saturday (June 22).
It would be the first ever open air boxing competition in Cumbria.
Music and entertainment will be provided on the day by DJ Cameron Lees and musician Jonny Quango.
Gates will open at 4pm and with the first bout expected to start at approximately 6.30pm.
Tickets are available to buy from the Barrow Raiders shop on Scott Street, or by contacting the Odd Shaped Balls Facebook page.
