A SCHOOL has dressed to the nines to celebrate the launch of the town’s carnival festivities.
Parkside GGI Academy adopted a range of costumes and fancy dress outfits in honour of The Forum’s annually-held ‘Lions’ festival.
More than a dozen pupils from a number of dance groups took part in the festival with ages ranging from three to eight years old.
Costumes included: Captain America, a mermaid, a bank robber, fairies and more.
The group showed their best dance moves to mark the event.
The school is currently taking part in the half term family picnic challenge. Families are invited to take a picture of themselves in a location they have never been to before.
