POLICE can confirm that a 35-year-old man's body has been found in the early hours of today at Chambers Crag.
A search operation was conducted for Chris Brown, from Whitehaven, following concerns for his welfare which were reported to police at 9.48pm yesterday (June 3).
Officers say the circumstances of Mr Brown’s death are not believed to be suspicious.
The family of the deceased have been informed.
Mr Brown’s family have requested that people respect their privacy at this difficult time.
