A GROUP of women, who started country line dancing in Askam 22 years ago, are still going strong.
The group raise funds for charities including St Mary's Hospice, Furness General Hospital's Oncology Unit, Mind in Furness, the North West Air Ambulance Charity, and cerebral palsy and motor neurone charities.
The group meet on Tuesday in the Askam Community Centre at 7.30pm.
The total donated by the charity over the years has reached just over £70,000.
