A GROUP of Year Three pupils from Barrow’s Parkside GGI Academy were given an in-depth tour of working as a food-maker and shopkeeper within the town's Morrisons store.
The tour, which was supervised by teachers Miss Webb, Mrs Long & Mrs Gretton, saw the children learn about the different fish it sells, and help the bakery and cake shop after being shown how to make donuts. The pupils were given a presentation on how to make pizzas, along with learning about the cheeses on the Deli counter. They also had a play on checkouts and finished the tour off with a scavenger hunt.
