A WOMAN has been forced to wear an electronic tag after being convicted of assault.
Stephanie Bossio, 32, of Cameron Street, Barrow, was charged with assaulting Sarah Heslop by beating her on March 22.
She appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on May 15, where she pleaded guilty to the offence.
Bossio was given a curfew from between 8pm and 6am for the next six weeks.
The defendant was also ordered to pay £100 in compensation to the victim, as well an £85 victim surchare and £85 in court costs.
