BUSY: Sweet Pepper Cafe on the its opening day
PLANTS: Furness Vegans have rescheduled the group’s monthly meeting for Saturday 8th June at Barrow's Sweet Pepper Cafe.
The original May meeting was to take place at the cafe, on Dalton Road, on Saturday 11th May, but was cancelled due to coinciding with the Keswick to Barrow Walk.
The group meet on the second weekend of each month, but alternate between Saturday and Sunday on a loose basis to try and accommodate all members.
Group representative, Neil Richardson said:"The idea is just to give people somewhere to meet and find support and friendship.
"People don't have to be vegan to come along."
