An author is appealing for former pupils to pick up his photo archive which showcases some of their finest work.
Ken White, 84, taught design and crafts within numerous schools across the Barrow area before retiring after 27 years in education.
His book 'West Shore and Beyond' has reached the hands of the majority of former pupils, teachers and friends. However, so far only a minority have been obtained by pupils of the Boys' and Girls' Grammar School and Parkview.
Mr White has just had another 50 copies printed hoping the reach the latter.
Since launching, Mr White has received many letters and phone calls expressing congratulations and great pleasure including: "The book recalls many happy memories".
