A DRIVER has been landed with an £805 court bill after being caught in charge of a car while over the limit.
John Shadforth, 56, of Fairfield Road, Millom, changed his plea to guilty when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates Court.
Shadforth was stopped in an Audi on Queen Street in the town on September 18 and had 75 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The limit is 35mcgs.
He was fined £460 and told to pay £300 costs and a £45 surcharge.
He was also handed ten penalty points.
