HOMEOWNERS disturbed a person who had tried to enter their house by the back door, police said.
An investigation into an attempted burglary at Duddon Mews, Walney, at around 7.50pm on Sunday night is under way.
The suspect is described as approximate height of 5' 10''.
House-to-house inquiries have taken place.
