A BARROW man has been told to complete 140 hours of unpaid work after admitting assaulting a police officer.
Jamie Williamson, 21, of Bridgegate Avenue, assaulted Gareth Jones on February 17, a court was told. He also admitted being drunk and disorderly and was fined £100. He was also told to pay £170 in costs and a victim surcharge.
