ONE resident has been rescued from a property following a house fire in Ulverston.
At around 8am this morning (Feb 23) two fire engines from Ulverston were called to a house fire on Quebec Street, Ulverston.
One casualty was evacuated from the building by fire service personnel.
The resident was found suffering from smoke inhalation and oxygen therapy was administered by fire service personnel.
An ambulance attended the scene and the casualty was left in their care.
Crews used two breathing apparatus and one hosereel jet to put out the fire.
Crews were on scene for around forty minutes.
