A PENSIONER has appeared in court accused of indecently assaulting a woman in the 1980s.
Roger Whitehouse, 78, of Butterflowers Caravan Site, Seaview, Haverigg, has been charged with four counts of indecently assaulting the woman in Cumbria and one count of attempting to indecently assaulting the same woman.
Mr Whitehouse appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates Court and his case was sent for trial at Carlisle Crown Court on March 25.
He was released on unconditional bail in the meantime.
