South Cumbria Magistrates' Court at Barrow.
A BARROW man is to go on trial accused of assaulting a police officer.
Gordon Wright, 25, of High Cliff, elected trial by jury when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates Court.
He was charged with assaulting Katie Hayworth in Barrow on January 12 and with possession of a kitchen knife in public.
He will now appear at Preston Crown Court on March 15
