MAGISTRATES banned Joshua Baker, 21, of Duke Street, Askam, from getting behind the wheel for 14 months after he pleaded guilty to drink driving. The hearing at South Cumbria Magistrates Court heard that Baker had 48 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit being 35 - when stopped in Barrow. He was also fined £275, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
