A FLOOD alert is in force for the high spring tide across Morecambe Bay tonight.
The Environment Agency said the tides will be at their highest from 10pm to 2am.
Tidal spray and onshore flooding may occur to roads and some properties along the coast may be affected
"We currently forecast that the consecutive tides on Tuesday will also meet the Flood Alert threshold," a spokesman said.
"We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are closing tidal flood gates."
