AN ALL action American wrestling spectacular featuring a sensational over the top rope Royal Rumble rolls into Barrow on Saturday, January 26 (7.30pm).

Boo the baddies and cheer for the goodies as some of the biggest draws on the circuit bump, grapple and swerve.

Promoter and former World of Sport wrestler, Ian McGregor, said that wrestling in Barrow had been popular since the 1950s and the days of Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks, first of all staged at the old civic hall, now The Forum: "It's good to continue that tradition," added Ian. "I still meet people who are now grandparents and say to me that 'we used to come and watch you.' Now they're bringing their grandchildren along to shows."

Centre stage at The Forum will be the man with the million dollar arms, bicep bulging Tiny Iron.

Tiny - out of the ring Andrew Harrison - is a former security guard, providing personal security for several top named celebrities, including Jay-Z, 50 Cent and Rihanna. While filming the 2005 movie The Number One Girl in London, actor Vinnie Jones met him and offered him a part in the film. Since, he's starred in several other movies, including in 2009 appearing in a film starring rap artist 50 Cent called Dead Man Running. As a wrestler, he trained under Charlie Rage and made his debut in 2007. He has worked throughout several promotions, including WrestleForce where he became the heavyweight champion.

Other top names joining Tiny Iron in the ring at The Forum include Masked Destroyers, Road Warrior, Pyro, Boston Brawler, Kid Lightning, Rocky Las Vegas and many more.

Next month The Forum hosts a show that packs a punch of a different kind.

One of the UK's most sought after comedy club headliners, The Noise Next Door are back and mixing things up with a fresh show that will split sides, blow minds, and drop jaws.

The undisputed masters of off-the-cuff comedy will transform audience suggestions into ferociously funny scenes and songs in the blink of an eye with a perfect blend of ludicrous characters, witty one-liners, and explosive physicality. Remix will see the chaotic quartet play the Barrow venue on Thursday, February 21.
