CLOSED: JD Sports unexpectedly remained closed
A major retailer on Portland Walk remained closed for much of the morning today.
The shutters at JD Sports in the town centre stayed down for hours after the shop was set to open.
A JD Sports spokeswoman confirmed a technical issue with the shutter meant it couldn't be raised. The shop reopened at around 11am.
