NOMINATIONS close this week for residents to put forward businesses to attend Cumbria Day celebrations in Westminster.
MPs from across Cumbria will be celebrating the best of the county in Westminster on January 23.
As part of the celebrations, John Woodcock, MP for Barrow and Furness has been accepting nominations for a local business to represent the constituency at Westminster.
These nominations close at 12pm on Friday January 11.
Once all the nominations have been accepted, a Facebook poll will open to choose a winner.
The winner will be announced on January 18.
To be nominated, business must be based in the Barrow and Furness constituency, make their own produce which can be showcased at the event and must be available to travel to London for Cumbria Day.
